Just push through the hunger and it'll fade
The evidence
Hunger does not simply fade: one year after losing 10 kg, the hunger hormone ghrelin was still high and the fullness hormones PYY and leptin were still low — the body's defensive hunger does not reset (Sumithran 2011, NEJM).
